About Dirce E. Hernandez
Dirce E. Hernandez is a Senior Cybersecurity GRC leader in the FinTech and financial services sector, with 18 years of experience spanning Texas state government, higher education, healthcare, and financial services. His expertise covers cyber threat risk management, cybersecurity IT audit, and security research. He holds a master's in Information Security and Information Assurance Management and certifications including C|CISO, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CPDSE, and CSX. He teaches organizational leadership, cybersecurity, and IT courses at several colleges and universities, contributed to the CCSK v5 certification exam, and served on the San Antonio ISACA leadership board. His work has been quoted in Bloomberg News and the San Antonio Business Journal.
