About Steven Ordaz
Originally from the Rio Grande Valley, Steven Ordaz is a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst II at The University of Texas at San Antonio, where he supports security monitoring, incident response, operational process improvements, and the college internship program. He brings more than 20 years of experience in information technology, spanning customer support, IT services, systems administration, and, most recently, cybersecurity. He holds a BBA in Information Systems and an MS in Information Technology from UTSA, plus an MS in Computer Networking from Wichita State University, along with certifications from Microsoft, Apple, CompTIA, and ISC2. He is recognized for his commitment to service excellence, operational rigor, community service, and mentoring.
